Jingqi Duan Background
Jingqi Duan, PhD, is a biotechnology and AI technology leader with deep expertise spanning structural biology, genomics, and large-scale data engineering. He holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Peking University and has over a decade of experience applying structural biology techniques—including X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, cryo-ET, and computational structural modeling—to the study of RNA-protein complexes and human disease mechanisms.

Jingqi’s academic work at institutions including Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the University of Pennsylvania advanced understanding of the SMN complex, snRNP biogenesis, and splicing-related disorders, integrating experimental biology with modern computational approaches such as AlphaFold2 and large-scale NGS data analysis.
